Custom Fishing Lures
Plaques
By Bill Adams
Welcome to my new website, which is still under construction,
so please come back often to see the new lures I have to offer.
I will post a photo of each new lure as they reach a stage
of 50% completed.
I will offer custom fishing lures that will be hand carved and hand painted in the Artisan tradition. I will also be offering old lures that I have refurbished. These lures will be  mounted on plaques as  works of art
for you to display in your office or home.
I hope to announce in the coming months that  my artwork will be available at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea.
Since each lure is a (One of a Kind) work of art, the possibilities are
limitless. Here are some ideas that are very popular..
* You can have one of your old lures mounted as is... or refurbished and mounted.
* You can have a scene painted on the side of the lure that shows your favorite fishing
spot. (Simply provide a photo or drawing) Maybe it was where you and your Dad
use to fish.... or where your son or daughter caught their first BIG one!
* Have a picture of the BIG one you caught put on the plaque with the lure that
you used to land it with.
* Have a picture of you and a loved one put on the plaque to remind you or them
of the best times in your life. I know when I get to go fishing with my Dad or
sons, it is always the best times in my life !
* If you can imagine it, I think we can find a way to make it!
These art works generally take about 1- 2 weeks to produce,
so if you have a special date to celebrate in a special way,
be sure to order in plenty of time, so we can all be happy!!!
Lure Plaque # 100
This large hand carved Muskie Lure is mounted on a wood-burned scene of one of my favorite spots where I use to fish when I lived in Alaska. All you Muskie
fishermen will notice that all Muskie plugs will have steel leaders attached!
The plaque is approx. (12" by 9") Hook barbs have  wooden caps that you
can remove if you would like a more tenacious look.
Close up of scene painted on side.
This lure is a few dollars more
than other this size, because it has 3 scenes. This is a shot
of another scene  on the
tail spoon.
Please contact me by phone or email me at
tianpo@yahoo.com for information on
payment procedure.
I will be posting new photos several times a week of the new lures I am working on so be sure to visit us often.

The above plaque belongs to my (Fisher of Men) series. It has a scene of Moses parting the Red Sea painted on the side of the lure.
The plaque above is a one that is commisioned as a Memorial gift for  one of the Children of Carl Marsh, who passed away recently. He was a lover of  Nature, so this plaque and lure uses the beauty of the wood as its theme.  The knot is used as the setting sun. The Church where he and I attended is painted on the side of the lure. The beautiful grains in the lure are not covered up with paint, but left intact as God created them.  Carl can be seen standing above the lure's eye, admiring the view.... wearing his favorite hat!
This plaque is one of the (Salt Water) series.
A full masted sailing ship , lighthouse, and the flower covered shoreline are painted on the side of the lure. The background scene burnt into the wooden plaques shows someone heading out to deep waters for some  fishing.
This lure from the (Fresh Water) series is in the Hula Popper style. On the side of the lure is a depiction of the Kirksville Baptist Church.
This Lure from the (Fresh Water) series id an old Top water Fly I refurbished that had been destroyed by many a savage Large mouth Bass. On the side is painted a Kentucky Horse Farm.
