Welcome to my own personal "Cat Box". Below are illustrations I did for a Series called,
"
COOLCATS " , that I started many years ago. These characters represent some of my
favorite players,  and the emotions and skills they displayed. At the present time NONE
of the prints are for sale. I had to put this project on hold because of health issues in the
family, but I hope to reapply for my CLC license and begin anew with this fun project that
is so dear to my heart.
Title:  "The Blocked Shot"
This first print of the series was produced in 1993. It depicted the tenacity of one of my favorite players, Kevin Grevey.
The caption at the bottom says:
" Sometimes it's not the size of the Cat that counts,  but the strength of it's CLAWS!
Motivation, Ingenenuity, and plain old hardwork ... the Great Equalizers ! "

Kevin Grevey exemplified those qualities. He never gave up, and always put 110% effort when he was on the court.
Thanks Kevin !
When I released this print back in 1993 I was CLC licensed through the University of Kentucky.  I have about
1000 prints left of that first printing. If anyone is interested in working with me to get this print or Series back
into circulation, contact me at (rattlebones@iwon.com). I will also consider this print for charity fundraisers if the
participants can satisfy the CLC and UK requirments.
Title: " WILDCAT  FOOTBALL "
This draft, of a print not yet produced, is my vision of what a wildcat would look like playing football.
Marty Moore's tenacity is represented in this drawing I did for my Dad. I tried my best to get this illustration done on
T-shirts for this 2004 - 2005 season. I thought it would be awesome for 70 housand fans to show up showing their cat grit.
I contacted  UK and offered them the rights to use the design FREE of charge, but could get no response, except to be
"handed off" to the next person. I contacted several Radio stations, hoping to get their help in making T-shirts of my
Football Cat, and giving my portion of the royalties to charity,  but did,'t even get the courtesy of a reply to my offer.
What a shame! I would love to know what the average Kentucky Wildcat Football fan thinks of this Cat.

Title:  " Slam Dunk "
Who in Kentucky was not in Love with the play of
Jamal Mashburn, and what he did for the Wildcats?
Jamal will always be one of the classy acts that graced our court. This draft, of a print not yet produced, is about the awesome slam dunks
he use to wreck upon
the opponents.
WOW,
did he inspire the teams when he
let out that victory yell. Thanks Jamal!
Title: " The Comeback "
This draft, of a print not yet produced, is about that great LSU comback. That was one of the best games I ever saw. This print
will be dedicated to the tenacity of
Gimel Martinez ,
without  whose
strength and effort
we would naver
have had
such a great memory
to cherish.
.
Thanks Gimel !
Title:  " TREY "
This draft, of a print not yet produced,
is about the awesome performance
I saw Jeff Brassow, give one night.
That was the best 3 point shooting
I had seen in a long time.
Jeff was always a class act as
well as another favorite
of Kentucky fans.

Thanks Jeff !
