| Title: "God's House " This painting is of the Kirksville Christian Church, a small , very old church located a mile from my house. I had always loved seeing it on the hill, as I drove home from work. I had to paint it. I sold it to the Church when they found out about it and wanted it. I fell in love with the people and the presence I found inside. I soon became a member. God Bless! SOLD |

| Title: " The Lord Calls Unto Me " This painting is one I am doing for all those feeling the tug at your heart by the Lord, especially myself. I have spent a little over a year on this one and it is barely a quarter finished. It is probably one I will have a hard time parting with and may not offer this one for sale, but I want to share it just in case the Lord may call out to you when you see it. It depcits the Lord resting on a path close to the Jordan River. There he is blessing an old man who has sought him out. The old man's daughter comforts him as his son is overcome with the joy of his father's dream realized. Even though the Lord is attending to this families spititual needs, he sees you standing there watching. He reaches his hand out and beckons you to come and join him. He beckons you to find the joy in knowing him and being a saved Soul. He offers to take all your pain and sorrow and let it rest on him. He calls you to join him on the pathway to Heaven. It will probably take me another year or two to finish this painting, because I try to work on it when I am not rushed, and there are seldom times like that in my life right now. If you enjoy this painting and it moves you to Love the Lord, or you hear him calling, or you just yearn for someone to take your pain and sorrow form you, please contact me and let me tell you how the Lord as made my life worth living. | This painting depicts an aging Samurai, meditating , speaking to his God. He is like the falling Blossom,having lived a full life, he yearns to fall softly on the earth one final time. he wishes to avid another battle, but to find peace in the arms of the Lord. He prepares for the unavoidable battle with a peaceful respite with the Lord. The reflection of his sword on the waters of this peaceful scene show that his sword has become a symbol of peace and deliverence, instead of a weapon of death. It reveals that the Lord is listening to his prayer. Close to his heart he holds his sacred Bible. My vision for the ending of this Ancient Samurai, is that he passes away softly, there by the waters, like the falling blossoms. |

| Title: " Leap of Faith " |
| This painting depicts a Native American Warrior leaping off a cliff to show his faith to God. Much like the tradition of the nagual and their magic, but there are hidden meanings in this artwork. His pipe and peyote can be seen next to his Bible. Although he searched for the strength through ancient practices, only the word of God made him fearless. He holds the arrows of war in one hand and the dust of man on the other, as he spreads his wings like the Eagle, that can be seen far below (also clutching the arrows of war). Just as God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son , Issac, to show his faith, I have often wondered if my faith would be strong enough if I were asked. If the Lord asked me to leap of a cliff to show my Love and Faith in him, could I? When the time comes, I will find out. If you stare at the snowcapped mountian, you can see the face of God. |

| The work shown above, is a painting I did for myself. It is of Moses tablets containing the 10 Commandments. Around the tablets are scenes from the Bible, concerning Moses. It is framed in simple wood stained in a beautiful Mahogony finish. The two canvases are hinged so it can close like a book. It sits in my Martial Arts Club, which can be viewed by going to the martial arts icon on the first page of this website. |

| Title: "Nails of Salvation" |
| This painting is on a large 36X24 stretched canvas.It depicts the hand of "Our Savior" pierced through the hand by a nail driven ino the cross. The wood of the cross will be soaked with the blood of salvation. This painting is a difficult one to paint. My heart feel so much graditude for what my Lord has suffered for me. Tentative completion date on this painting will sometime in the summer of 2006...I hope! |

| This painting of Jesus is one I did for a "Special" Christian friend of mine. It was a gift I made her to repay her for the many helpful gifts she has given me in my battle to become a good servant of the Lord. It is a small framed painting with a REAL crown of thorns pressed into the canvas. This project took my breath! When the lighting is right the face of Jesus seems to pull out from the canvas and fill the crown and frame, giving it a 3-dimentional effect. I hated to part with this one, but the reward I have reaped from the help from my Special helper is worth the loss. Amen! |
